Kian walked along the bits of asphalt that had once been a highway, trying to get some idea as to where the nearest town was. Soon, some movement could be seen on the horizon. It looked like some kind of large vehicle. Kian jumped behind a rock and waited for the thing to pass. It could be seen that these were raiders, and he took aim at one of them. He didn't want to kill these people, but if they saw him he might have to.

Carrie was driving about a half mile behind the raiders. She had seen them shortly after leaving the junkyard and knew that it was a good idea, when traveling, to do it somewhere you know you arent infront of raiders. and where better to do that than behind them. Should they stop to bother him she would be coming up soon behind. She figured they wouldn't be stopping since there was nothing for miles in this direction.
