Name: Kwai Shang Sun
Age: 18, close to 19
Sex: Male
Build: Thin
Physical Description: Kwai's hair is medium length, the mark of a head once shaved, now left to a wanderer going many miles without a razour. Ironic that a tradition started to give monks less to deal with would become a luxury to Kwai. He still sahves his head, out of comfort and tradition, when he gets the chance, but his hair growing long does not bother him as it once did. Five o'clock shadow, often covers his face for the same reason. His appearance is slightly incongruous to his name, for he does not appear particularly Chinese, although he does have a few common asiatic features, he looks far more caucasian on the whole. He is unwilling to comment, citing the racial divisions people create as illusions of petty men to divide those who are one in soul. Shorter than average, he's perhaps the height of an average female his age, maybe even shorter.
Personality: Kwai is a vegetarian when he can manage it, only eating meat when there is no alternative to it other than death. He is non-violent, calm, and disciplined. He doesn't speak often, believing one should only speak when one has something to say. This unnerves others, so he does his best to speak more frequently, for their comfort. He's humble and tries to show kindness to even the most unlikable person.
History: Kwai was an orphan taken in by a group of Shaolin Monks who foresaw and were preparing for the apocalypse. Since so few of them had children of their own, the students they took on were to be the last hope of the Shaolin temple after the apocalypse. Kwai left the temple when he completed his training, becoming a wandering monk seeking enlightment in the torn world outside the temple he'd known as his home. It's been almost three years since that day, and he's no longer as naive as he once was, possessing a few scars for the trouble of his edification.
